Using DineHop

Search by craving, not by cuisine

Searching "Italian" returns every pizza place, trattoria and deli in range. Searching "cacio e pepe" returns the handful of kitchens that actually make it. Start from the dish and the list gets shorter and more accurate.

Cuisine labels are broad enough to be almost meaningless once you are hungry.

Type the dish, not the category

DineHop's search takes a dish, a cuisine or a neighbourhood. The dish is usually the fastest route, because it filters on what a kitchen actually cooks.

Then narrow with filters

Once results are on screen, the cuisine and dietary filters do the rest: halal, vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free. Combine them with the map to see what is genuinely walkable from where you are standing.

Save the ones that worked

A place you liked is easy to forget by next month. Save it with a note about what you ordered, so the list stays useful rather than becoming a pile of names.
