What is DineHop?
DineHop is a restaurant-finder app for the UK. Search by dish, cuisine or neighbourhood to compare menus, prices, photos, reviews and official food-hygiene ratings in one place, then save the spots worth going back to. It’s built to help you decide where to eat without opening ten tabs.
Is DineHop free to use?
Yes. DineHop is free to download and use. There’s no subscription, and you don’t need an account to search restaurants, browse by category or check a venue’s hygiene rating.
Where do the food-hygiene ratings come from?
Every rating is the venue’s official Food Hygiene Rating Scheme (FHRS) score, published by the UK’s Food Standards Agency. DineHop shows it on each listing, so you can check a kitchen’s most recent inspection result before you decide to eat there.
Can I book a table through DineHop?
Not yet. DineHop is a discovery app, not a booking service. It helps you find the right place and see its opening hours, menu, phone number and directions, so you can call ahead or simply walk in. Table booking may come in a future update.
Which devices does DineHop support?
DineHop is launching first on Android, through Google Play. Your saved places live on your device, so you can build your list without creating an account. An iPhone version isn’t available yet.
When does DineHop launch?
