DineHop is a worldwide restaurant-finder app. Search by dish, cuisine or neighbourhood to compare menus, prices, photos, reviews and official food-hygiene ratings in one place, then save the spots worth going back to. You can also plan a whole evening across several venues in one list, called a Hop. It’s built to help you decide where to eat without opening ten tabs.
Yes. DineHop is free to download and use, with no subscription. You don’t need an account to search restaurants, browse by category or check a venue’s hygiene rating. A free account is only needed to save places.
Ratings come from official government food-hygiene schemes, matched to each venue’s country where such a scheme exists. DineHop shows the most recent result on the listing, so you can check a kitchen’s inspection result before you decide to eat there.
Not yet. DineHop is a discovery app, not a booking service. It helps you find the right place and see its opening hours, menu, phone number and directions, so you can call ahead or simply walk in. Table booking may come in a future update.
DineHop is available on Android through Google Play. Searching and browsing need no account; create a free account to save the places you like. An iPhone version isn’t available yet.
